Can I wash my nonstick cookware in the dishwasher?

We recommend hand-washing and drying your Gotham Steel cookware. The dishwasher is an extreme environment that can reduce the life-span of non-stick surfaces. If your Use and Care manual states that your cookware may be washed in dishwasher, avoid using harsh dishwashing detergents that contain citrus or bleach.

Unless specified in the Use and Care manual that it is acceptable to wash your cookware in a dishwasher, prolonged dishwashing and exposure to humidity may discolor the nonstick coating, weaken plastics, and could cause discoloration of non-coated surfaces.
